The Mini2P is a 2-photon miniscope designed for large-scale calcium imaging in freely moving mice. It enables stable simultaneous recordings of over a thousand cells across multiple planes of densely active cortical regions during a wide range of behavioral tasks without affecting the animal's behavior.
The Mini2P Scope accepts the excitation fiber for delivering the 2-photon laser, and the resulting fluorescence is directed into the Mini2P- Collection Fiber v1. The two versions of the Mini2P-Scope have either a fast or a wide-angle MEMS mirror. Also, three different objectives are available. The Mini2P- Scope Cable Harness v1 provides to the Mini2P Scope the driving signals for the µTlens and the MEMS mirror. The supplied baseplate and the intermittent stitching adaptor (0,0) forms the connection to the mice.
The Mini2P Scope is fully tested and individually characterized. We measure and provide resolution, viewing angle, and z-stack straightness of each instrument. These values allow you to optimize scope performance to its fullest potential.
