Smart Citizen Kit 2.3

The Smart Citizen Kit is the core of the Smart Citizen System: a complete set of modular hardware components designed to provide tools for environmental monitoring. It supports a wide range of applications, from citizen science and educational activities to more advanced scientific research. The system is designed to be extendable, featuring a central data logger (the Data Board) with network connectivity, to which various components can be connected. Additionally, the system integrates non-hardware elements, such as a dedicated storage platform and a sensor analysis framework.

Beyond that, the system serves as a foundational solution for more complex applications, not limited to air quality monitoring. To support this, in addition to the Urban Board, the system offers out-of-the-box compatibility with a wide variety of third-party sensors via the expansion bus as a common interface. One such example is the Smart Citizen Station: a comprehensive, low-cost solution for air pollution monitoring.
