Precision Optics for Advanced Calcium Imaging

The Mini2P is a 2-photon miniscope for large-scale calcium imaging in freely moving mice. It enables stable simultaneous recordings of over a thousand cells across multiple planes of densely active cortical regions during a wide range of behavioral tasks without affecting the animal's behavior.

The Coupling Box is the component between the laser and the excitation fiber going to the Mini2P miniscope. It pre-chirps the laser pulses and facilitates effective coupling into the excitation fiber. The Coupling Box accepts the free-air laser beam and outputs the laser via an SM05 thread. The fiber-bound coupling holder and coupling protector attach easily to the Coupling Box. This Coupling Box is compatible with all related Mini2P parts based on the original design.
