The developers of the Open Source openQCM project originally come from the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF). For the electronics design of the dissipation module they teamed up with the Laboratorio de Prototipado Electrónico e Impresión 3D at the Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos in Argentina.
